Services can be integrated into the current systems

(EMR, PMS, EHR, etc.)

This set of services is designed to be integrated into current professionals’ systems - electronic medical records (EMR), pharmacy management systems (PMS), electronic health records (EHR) - therefore leveraging the information assets in place and more specifically in Quebec, the QHR (Quebec Health Record).
Using a REST API based on the FHIR standard significantly speeds up seamless integration of such services.

REST API architecture

Flexibility, scalability

The REST API architecture provides significant advantages such as standardization, flexibility, scalability and integration. It's all backed up by rich and detailed specification documentation with implementation examples in multiple languages.

FHIR standard

Standardization, interoperability

The FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard brings major benefits in terms of standardization, interoperability, simplicity and flexibility. The FHIR standard is gaining traction: indeed, several countries are involved in projects to accelerate the adoption of FHIR (Australia, Canada, United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Russia, Ukraine) and tech giants have embarked on the implementation of FHIR (Amazon, Apple, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce).

API published with Postman

Examples of code in several languages

The API is documented clearly and comprehensively with Postman, helping understand and facilitate the integration exercise for developers of existing local systems. The use cases refer to the HL7v3 services of the QHR to ensure correct interpretation. Finally, code samples are provided in several languages, at the developers’ choice.
